Policies for limited edition art prints: Shipping, returns, EXCHANGES, etc.
PLEASE NOTE THAT OPEN EDITION, HOME DECOR, AND CLOTHING/ACCESSORY ITEMS ARE SOLD BY THIRD PARTY COMPANIES TO WHOM WE HAVE LICENSED SOME OF OUR ART IMAGES. THEIR OWN POLICIES WILL APPLY TO THOSE ITEMS. LIKEWISE, CANVASES PURCHASED IN PERSON AT THE ART VENTURES GALLERY WILL BE SUBJECT TO ART VENTURES’ POLICIES. THE POLICIES BELOW APPLY TO ONLINE PURCHASES OF LIMITED EDITION ART PRINTS.
THE CARRIER: Fed Ex Ground has been selected to ship your artwork to your location within the contiguous United States. When checking out online you will be charged shipping based upon automatic calculations which take into account size, weight, and distance the shipment must travel.
EXPECTED DELIVERY TIME: Since your Limited Edition art print is an individually created art print made just for you by the artist (as opposed to a factory made mass production picture), your patience is appreciated in allowing up to 7 days for its creation and delivery to Fed Ex Ground for shipment onward to you. Fed Ex Ground advertises its estimated delivery time as 1-5 business days for shipments within the contiguous U.S. Please note, in case the art is intended as a gift for a special occasion: The Fed Ex delivery time is in addition to the time spent creating your art piece. Generally speaking, a maximum of two weeks (between when you order the art and receive it) should usually be a safe bet. That said, if the art MUST be received by a special event day (someone’s birthday, etc.), please use the contact us section to alert us so we’ll know to prioritize it. We want you to be happy!
FOR THOSE LIVING OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS U.S.: TO HAVE ART SHIPPED TO YOUR LOCATION OUTSIDE THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES (to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and other Countries), PLEASE CLICK HERE Rest assured the same artist is still making your Limited Edition print. However, Saatchi Art will assist in couriering the art to places outside the Contiguous U.S. States. We appreciate your patronage and apologize for any inconvenience.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
RETURNS: Art prints may be returned to the artist for a full refund (which will be refunded to only the original purchaser) within 30 days of the original purchaser doing the following: Notify us using the “Contact” section of the website that you wish to return the art print. If it was locally picked up, we will make arrangements for you to return it to our art studio and we will likewise arrange for a full refund to the original purchaser. If it was shipped, we will mail a pre-paid Fed Ex Ground label which can be placed on the original box for shipping the item back to us (be sure and mark out any original shipping label information on that same box to avoid confusing Fed Ex on its destination). If the original box is no longer available, let us know and we will work out an alternative. Upon our receipt of the artwork we will issue a full refund to the original purchaser, including the shipping charges and sales tax (if applicable) they paid during the original purchase.
It is very helpful to the artist, but not required, to state why the item is being returned. Returns are very rare but feedback on any return can always help us strive to be better.
EXCHANGES: Should the original purchaser desire to exchange the original purchase for a duplicate art piece or a different art piece, the original Purchaser should still return the originally purchased art print per the above (and will still receive a full refund). The original purchaser may then separately order an identical or substitute art piece online just as any new art piece is ordered. The reason for handling exchanges in this manner is to keep the taxes and/or shipping calculations straight in bookkeeping, since they may differ between different art pieces.
